Manufacture of Foundry Alloys

Foundry Alloys are produced from smelter liquid Al from two 12-ton capacity furnaces. Foundry Plant capacity is 25,000 tons per year. During casting, metal is degassed using an inline launder treatment process, then filtered through a CFF. Wheel, Piston and Cylinder Head alloys are our major foundry alloys. Al alloys for steel plant are also produced in sows & ingots. Silicon, Magnesium and other elements are added to achieve final alloy specification. Ingots (around 7kg) are produced on an open top automatic casting machine.
